More Impounded Boats to be Released
Tere Grossman, owner of San Carlos Marina, reports that AGACE agents were back at San Carlos Marina on Tuesday, and that as a result she expected that most of the impounded boats in her marina would soon be "liberated." More »

AC Protocol & Rule Expected Soon
The protocol and class rule pertaining to the 35th America’s Cup is on schedule to be released in March. The new rule is expected to "produce a foiling, wingsailed catamaran in the 60-65 foot range," according to the America’s Cup Event Authority (ACEA). More »

Z-Fest Pictures Tell the Story

Man Overboard in the Circle
This past Saturday during the Berkeley YC Midwinters a distress call went out on VHF Channel 78 from a J/24’s skipper alerting racers of a man overboard. The individual had been hit in the head by the boom during a jibing maneuver and was knocked in the Bay, still conscious. More »
